SCC Week 2 Check in & Week 3 Goals

                                           January 9nd to January 15th, 2012
                                                        Recap of week 2
This week is not so bad I my biggest success this week would have to be doing 45min of cardio and burning 450 calories also drinking lots of water. Although I didn't get to go 4 days this week I went for 2 and worked out hard then worked out from home. Biggest struggle would have to be portion control and finding different healthy snacks (any suggestions?) and also eating out (I ate out 4 times last week). But I am down 2 pounds!! very happy with that

Goals for week3 goals are the same as last week just from now on for the next 5 weeks I will be doing 3 gym workouts and 1 75min beach work out:) and also this week I am going to focus more on what I am eating (like whats bad and needs to go) and trying to stay away from fast food restaurants.

  1. Way to go on the 2 lbs!!! That's a great amount for a weekly loss!! What do you like in terms of snacks? Some of my favorite snacks are carrots and cucumbers, but if you need something a little less vegetable and a little more salty, a light popcorn is my go-to (I typically pop it myself, don't add butter, and just add a touch of sea salt)

  3. Fantastic on the 2lb, that is great in a week!
For healthy snacks I often just chop vegetables and fruit. Simple and effective :)

  4. Oooh a beach workout sounds so nice. Congrats on your weight loss. As for snacks, I like to keep my house stocked with quick things like apples, bananas and sugar peas. Strawberries and grapes if there are any good ones. I like to stay away from the 100 calorie packs of cookies and stuff like that. I think they're great for someone who can have just one, but I'm not that person.

Thanks for the positive comments! Look forward to seeing more from you :) xx
